What we received was &#8211; two paschal candles And no palms.<br>Fortunately Christ Church in Springfield ordered lots, being large, so they came to our rescue and gave me enough for Sunday&#8217;s worship!<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"270\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/cfd132e6001\/28816049-4da7-40d9-8951-7f064a1eaaa5.jpg\" alt=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"5\" height=\"10\" src=\"https:\/\/imgssl.constantcontact.com\/letters\/images\/sys\/S.gif\" alt=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"5\" height=\"5\" src=\"https:\/\/imgssl.constantcontact.com\/letters\/images\/sys\/S.gif\" alt=\"\"><strong>Garden Day<\/strong><br>Gardeners are invited to join\u00a0<strong>Stephen<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Ryan<\/strong>\u00a0tomorrow morning, beginning about 9:00. Later,\u00a0<strong>Elijah<\/strong>\u00a0and I and any other volunteers will tie orange plastic ribbon around every one of the little trees to prevent anyone from stepping on them &#8211; or mowing them down! The grass will grow faster than the trees, obviously &#8211; so we want to protect them as we are able.<br><strong>We could use some help<\/strong> <br>If anyone has a couple of hours a week to help keep the website updated,\u00a0<strong>Becca\u00a0<\/strong>would be glad to teach you how to manage the page. It isn&#8217;t hard, apparently, but it is time-consuming to get everything on it and to add newsletters, sermons, and events so that it is always current.<br>I urge you to go check out our Facebook page if you don&#8217;t see it regularly. Among other things, Bishop Diane posts pictures and reports every time she visits one of our congregations.
