You can keep on celebrating &#8211; even dyeing more eggs &#8211; or baking something special every Sunday.<br><br><strong>The Collect for Sunday<\/strong><br>O God, whose blessed Son made himself known to his disciples in the breaking of bread: Open the eyes of our faith, that we may behold him in all his redeeming work; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.\u00a0<em>Amen<\/em><br><br><strong>Acts 9:1-6<\/strong><br>Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any who belonged to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. Now as he was going along and approaching Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.<br>He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, &#8220;Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?&#8221; He asked, &#8220;Who are you, Lord?&#8221; The reply came &#8220;I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. But get up and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.&#8221;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"5\" height=\"10\" src=\"https:\/\/imgssl.constantcontact.com\/letters\/images\/sys\/S.gif\" alt=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"5\" height=\"5\" src=\"https:\/\/imgssl.constantcontact.com\/letters\/images\/sys\/S.gif\" alt=\"\"><br><br><strong>So why not tell the whole story?<\/strong><br>The story goes on to verse 20 &#8211; but it really continues all through the book of Acts. And it continues today, too. You know what happens: how Saul, blinded, was led into the city; how God told Ananias to go to him, lay hands on him and he would be healed. You remember how Ananias objected, telling God what God already knew about how evil Saul was. God sent him anyway, and Saul regained his sight, and to his own shock and surprise, became a believer &#8211; a follower of Jesus.
