On Sunday we celebrated the high school graduations of both\u00a0Sarah and Olivia Cox<\/strong>

We also enjoyed the company of\u00a0Eunice Gititu’s<\/strong>\u00a0family from Memphis – Mother Cathy and Becca actually knew them there 20+ years ago – when Marcus was a very little boy!

Pentecost –<\/strong>\u00a0this Sunday is the “end” the culmination, the goal of Easter. *Red, orange and yellow are typical “fire” colors – Wear them on Sunday if you wish!

In the meantime, as we prepare, here are some musical prayers as we prepare for the feast.

Come Holy Ghost our souls inspire,
and lighten with celestial fire.
Thou the anointing Spirit art,
who dost thy sevenfold gifts impart.
Thy blessed unction from above is comfort light, and fire of love.
Enable with perpetual light
