St. Alban’s has had a garden for the last several years, providing produce for members and anyone else in need.

We are also beginning a multi-year project to protect and enhance our land, including a tall grass prairie which will provide habitat for small animals, birds and insects, and a deep band of hardwood, fruit-bearing and ornamental trees around three sides of our property, backing up to the already-present evergreens that provide habitat for wildlife as well.

There will still be plenty of space for our playground, for open areas for free play, and pathways for those who want to spend some time in the quiet.
