One more mention of All Souls Day Remembering ones we easily forget


Weep

Weep to remember that Texas was Mexico until the USA took it because our forefathers wanted it for themselves.
Weep to remember that our entire nation belonged to others, before our ancestors, immigrants without papers, claimed it All. “From sea to shining sea.”
Weep to remember that those new Americans disinherited, removed, abused, restricted those whose home it was and called them “savages” for fighting to protect it.
Weep to remember that our forefathers brought others men and women and children from Africa in chains
Enslaved them, fought a war to keep them as property.
Weep for the recent desperate who died trying to cross the walled-off desert unremembered except by God whose beloveds they are
